Henrich Gasper was awarded 100 acres of bounty land in Hillsborough Township on Savannah River adjacent to land for Henry Dreyer, John James Stiefel, and Jeremiah Rogers. The size of the grant indicates that he was single when he arrived.Hillsborough Township was located in what is present day McCormick County, SC on Little River just below the mouth of Long Cane Creek.e Making of McCormick County", by Bobby F Edmonds; Cedar Hill Unltd; 1999; pp.73-77. https://www.genealogy.com/forum/surnames/topics/cosper/444/hop Francis Asbury, migrated to South Carolina in 1768
